PromiseFest is an annual back-to-school community event based at Lincoln Elementary. PromiseFest came from a vision of celebrating our community, its assets, and continuing to build relationships within the neighborhood to strengthen the individuals and families that reside here. Each member that lives in this neighborhood has value and PromiseFest seeks to find it, show it, and celebrate it.
Volunteers are needed to help set up and clean up the event; serve food; and facilitate activities, games, and crafts for children who attend the event (supplies and instructions provided).
The event runs from 12pm to 4pm at Lincoln Elementary School (1500 Tibbetts Ave.) Volunteers may attend for a portion of the time, in shifts, or generously participate for the whole event.
