Who We Are
Reading for Life, a 501(c)3 organization, is a mentoring program for at-risk teens that combines literature with a study of the seven virtues. Reading for Life provides an effective alternative to prosecution for non-violent offenses.
What We Do
Reading for Life inspires young adults to make better life choices through personal mentoring relationships built around literature and classic virtues. Our approach is non-sectarian and encourages critical thinking.
After its proven success in South Bend, Indiana, the program has recently been adopted by Clark County Juvenile Court in Springfield, Ohio. We are looking for caring, qualified mentors to volunteer their time for Reading for Life.
