

Who We Are
Keep Clark County Beautiful is a local affiliate of the national Keep America Beautiful network, which includes more than 1,000 communities in the United States. The local organization is coordinated by the Clark County Solid Waste District. It will include a Board of Directors who will assist in planning, monitoring and fundraising.
The Board and the Solid Waste District will work to develop strategic partnerships with other agencies, both public and private, and will coordinate educational campaigns to raise awareness and engage the broader public to actively support the KCCB mission which is:
to engage the residents of Clark County to take pride, ownership and responsibility for enhancing their community's environment.
What We Do
Litter Prevention: defining litter, identifying the cause, preventing it, organizing clean ups and properly handling discarded waste in our communities.
Waste Reduction: Reducing the impact of mismanaged solid waste in our communities through integrated programs including source, reuse, recycling and education.
Beautification: Improving the visual aspect of our communities through programs that beautify our environment including community gardens, vacant lot restoration, highway beautification, urban forests, native and wildflower plantings, as well as graffiti prevention and abatement.
