Who We Are
The Clark County Department of Reentry is dedicated to empowering justice-involved individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve successful reintegration into the community. We work collaboratively with local organizations, service providers, and community partners to address barriers such as housing, employment, education, and mental health. Our mission is to provide the tools, resources, and support necessary to reduce recidivism and promote sustainable success, fostering a safer and more inclusive community for all.
What We Do
The Clark County Department of Reentry offers a wide range of direct services to justice-impacted citizens to support their successful reintegration into the community. We assist individuals in obtaining essential documents such as IDs and birth certificates, connect them to transitional and permanent housing opportunities, and provide job readiness training, including resume building and interview preparation. Our team facilitates access to mental health and substance use treatment, organizes record-sealing clinics, and helps individuals navigate the complexities of reentry by providing one-on-one case management. Through initiatives like Fair Chance Wednesday and partnerships with local organizations, we ensure justice-impacted citizens have the tools and resources needed to overcome barriers and achieve long-term stability and success.
