Who We Are
Project Woman is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by providing services and program to protect, educate and empower. Initially founded by volunteers in 1974, Project Woman is a nationally accredited non-profit [501c3] domestic violence and rape crisis center.
What We Do
We offer a full range of programs that are trauma-informed and non-victim blaming. These include 24/hour crisis & help line, emergency temporary shelter, supportive housing solutions, empowerment, and advocacy. Additionally, Project Woman provides community advocacy, prevention, and education to promote awareness and social change necessary to end gender-based violence.
