October 27 2018 is designated as Make A Difference Day, an annual community service day where individuals across the country give back to their communities. The Springfield Promise Neighborhood will work to revitalize a school garden space at Lincoln Elementary School, making it a central place of exploration and beauty.,
Volunteers are needed to help clear debris and weeds on the garden plot, plant flowers and bulbs for spring bloom, and install art and other amenities.
