Gallery Docents…
- Monitor galleries and other public places in the Heritage Center to answer questions and monitor safety and security of our visitors and artifacts.
- Conduct tours as needed, some of which may be pre-scheduled.
- Report to staff any misconduct in museum requiring immediate action.
- Supervised by the Education & Volunteer Director. Docent training provided by our Senior Curator.
Gallery Docents can work a routine shift at our front desk to offer tours to museum guests as they come in or our docents can work with scheduled tours.
