True Inspection Services was founded in 2007 by Barry E. Couts, a trained construction inspector who has over 30 years’ experience providing professional consulting services with specialization in construction inspection and construction management. TIS provides professional field services to the nation's leading corporations, government and other public agencies, emerging growth companies and small businesses. Public and Private clients have routinely selected TIS on their most challenging and complex projects. Mr. Couts has a proven track record of providing to clients an independent third-party assessment of the quality of construction and ensuring specification conformance. True Inspection Services provides to owners, contractors, engineers, and architects an independent, knowledgeable assurance that work is being performed according to specifications and standards. TIS has a solid commitment to providing quality services to clients in a timely manner. Even with its short history, TIS has served several satisfied clients on major projects.
What We Do
True Inspection Services, LLC (TIS) is a DBE, MBE and EDGE certified engineering and construction management firm specializing in construction inspection and management services. Our project experience includes inspection of asphalt and concrete roadways, bridge construction and rehabilitation and coating inspection services. TIS has provided inspection services to both the public and private sector, including various state departments of transportation, counties, municipalities, and retailers throughout Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Maryland.
